Weston-super-Mare Circle was founded in October 1961. We have monthly meetings, members only, and many social events which involves wives and families. The current Circle Roll is 28 members. We visit and keep in contact with 8 widows of past members of our Circle on a regular basis. On this site you will find a diary of all our social events for the coming year, pictures of some of our members enjoying some past events, archive pictures of special interest, as well as other information and links to other Catenian sites.

WESTON-SUPER-MARE CIRCLE has members throughout the whole of the Weston-super-Mare Deanery area. Meetings, for members only, are held on the first Tuesday of the month at Cadbury Country Club near Yatton (unless otherwise indicated). There are many after Circle functions and other events to which wives and families are invited. The wives of deceased members are visited regularly and also invited to social functions. Most members are involved actively in their own parishes, and many are called upon by their parish priests to provide expert help and advice. While not committed to the type of large scale charitable fund raising associated with other organisations, the Circle supports its President's chosen charity for the year and the Association's Benevolent and Bursary Funds. There is inter-Circle visiting between various Circles both inside and outside the local Province. Our Province - Province 12 - consists of Circles in Swansea, Aberdare, Porthcawl, Cardiff, Newport, Abergavenny, Hereford, Gloucester, Cirencester, Swindon, Bath, two in Bristol as well as Weston-super-Mare. A member of the Association may attend the meetings of any other Circle in the Association, which is useful particularly for those who travel a great deal. The Catenian Association gives you the opportunity to widen your circle of Catholic friends.
